Hi! I'm Ross. I help 40+ year-old beginners make videos using Descript without the tech headaches.
I posted my first YouTube video in 2007 when I was 15 years old, growing up in a small town near Seattle, Washington.
Since then, I've made thousands of videos and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue as a direct result of those videos.Â
I've always loved the creative aspect of video. But editing? Horrible - until I found Descript in 2022. Now it's a delight!
I started making Descript tutorials on YouTube and ended up building the largest Descript-focused Youtube channel on the internet. Soon, I began getting requests: “Build a course!”
I was hesitant because I thought surely a good Descript course must already exist. But, I enrolled in every one I could find and found them out-of-date and low-effort. So, I set out to build something better.
