What are these dots on my transcript? (& how to turn off)

If you're wondering what those little dots are in your Descript project, that's called wordless media.

When you import your video or audio, Descript automatically transcribes it, it takes your speech and makes it into text. But if there's parts where they're silence, there's no speaking, no detectable words. It creates these dots to tell you that there's, there's nothing there to transcribe.

So that's on by default, you can turn that off by coming up to your settings, going to help and feedback, going to debug.

And then. Clicking on this thing that says show where this media in script, and you're going to toggle that off. And now those dots are gone.
